HOW TO ENTER

Participants must:

1. Follow the giveaway partners listed in the Instagram contest post: @get_joni
   @elevatevacations, @scandinavewhis
2. Tag someone you'd love to bring to your periodcation in the comments of the Instagram post.
3. Reshare the Instagram post on your stories and tag @get_joni
4. Visit the campaign landing page, fill in your name, email, Instagram handle, and answer the question:⁠"Tell us your most memorable travel story in a few short sentences." No TMI, but we wanna hear all the juicy deetz. We'll be reading every answer to pick a winner based on creativity, so share your best short story!⁠

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Canada and the USA who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory at the Contest opening date. Employees of joni, contest partners, and their immediate families are not eligible.

PRIZE AWARDING AND SELECTION PROCESS

• We'll be reading every answer to pick a winner based on creativity so share your best short story! 
• The selected winner will be notified on March 10, 2025, and must be accepted within 24 hours.
  
• The selected winner may be required to provide proof of eligibility (e.g., valid government-issued ID). joni reserves the right to select an alternate winner if the original winner fails to meet eligibility, accept the prize, or respond within the time limit.
  
• The winner will be announced March 12, 2025, on joni's birthday via Instagram stories.

GENERAL RULES

• By entering, participants agree to abide by the contest rules and the decisions of joni, which are final.

• The prize is non-exchangeable and non-transferable. No cash alternatives or substitutions will be provided.

• All entrants agree to allow joni and its partners to publish their first name and Instagram handle, as provided on the contest form, for marketing and promotional purposes.

• By providing your email address, you agree to receive marketing communications from each brand partner in the Periodcation giveaway.

• By submitting your period story, you grant joni an irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid, transferable, and sub-licensable right to use, modify, reproduce, distribute, and publish your story, in any format or media, in perpetuity, including advertising and commercialization.
• Any applicable taxes, duties, or fees related to the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. joni will not provide tax advice or documentation beyond legally required disclosures.

Liability Waiver: The winner and their travel partner travel at their own risk. By accepting the prize, the winner acknowledges that travel involves inherent risks. joni and its partners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, losses, damages, delays, or unforeseen circumstances that may occur before, during, or after the trip. The winner assumes full responsibility for their safety and well-being and releases joni, its affiliates, and partners from any claims related to the trip.

The winner is responsible for obtaining any necessary travel insurance, including medical, trip cancellation, and liability coverage. joni and its partners do not provide insurance and are not liable for any expenses incurred due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to cancellations, medical emergencies, or force majeure events.

Privacy Policy: All personal information collected is for the sole purpose of contest administration and will be managed according to joni’s privacy policy at https://getjoni.com/pages/privacy-policy.

Additional Terms:  joni reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics, travel restrictions, or technical failures) affect its administration, fairness, or security. In such cases, joni is not obligated to offer a substitute prize. joni reserves the right to amend these rules, and all amendments will be posted online.
