HOW TO ENTER 

Visit  @get_joni on Instagram during the Nomination Period and complete the following steps:

1. Follow @get_joni on Instagram.
2. Tag your nominee(s) on @get_joni’s Instagram post announcing the prize.
3. Fill out the online nomination form.
4. DM @get_joni on Instagram: “Happy Birthday 💛” when the above steps are completed.

Nominations must be small, impact-driven, women-led Canadian businesses that are founder owned and in operation for less than five years. There are no limitations to how many businesses you nominate. Businesses may nominate themselves.

To be valid, nominations must be received by Friday, March 15th, 2024 at 11:59PM PST. 

Administrators and sponsors reserve the right to publish the first name, last name, Instagram handle from any contest entrant as entered on the contest form.

ELIGIBILITY 

Open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the Contest opening date.

Nominations must be:

• Small (less than 50 employees)
• Impact-driven
• Women-led
• Canadian
• Founder owned
• In operation for less than five years.

Employees of joni and its Contest Parties, as well as their immediate family, are not eligible to enter. The potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question.

PROCEDURE FOR AWARDING PRIZES 

Prize winners will be selected by joni judges on March 15th, 2024. The winner will be contacted by e-mail during the week following the draw and should claim their prize as instructed by joni no later than 48 hours after the date they are initially contacted. joni has the right, at its sole discretion, to select another winner if the winner does not reply within 48 hours of the first attempt of contact, does not meet eligibility, declines the prize, or fails to accept Prize rules. Before being declared a winner, the selected nomination must sign a declaration and release form.

DESCRIPTION OF PRIZE(S)

 The winner will receive a prize the value of $1,000 is inclusive of:

• $700 in cash
• $300 in product: 1 Model A Dispenser; 200 Regular Pads (SKU L200); 200 Regular Tampons (SKU TC100)

GENERAL RULES 

By entering, you agree to abide by the Prize rules and the decisions of joni, which decisions are final and binding on all contestants. The prize shall be accepted as is and may not be exchanged or refunded for an amount of money, sold or transferred. No substitutions will be allowed. Any unused portion of a prize will be forfeited. If the prize cannot be awarded as described in these rules, joni reserves the right to substitute a prize or prize component with another of comparable value. False statements will result in automatic disqualification. The Contest Parties assume no liability for any loss, damage, or injury. Refusal to accept the prize releases the Contest Parties from any obligation toward the winner. 

joni reserves the right to cancel or suspend this Prize should a virus, bug or other cause beyond their reasonable control corrupt the security or proper administration of the Prize. 

All personal information, such as name and contact information, is collected by joni solely for the purposes of administering this Prize and shall not be used for any other purpose without your express consent. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries.

joni reserves the right to amend the Prize rules or to terminate the Prize at any time without any liability to any contestant. Any amendments to these Prize rules will be posted on the Website.

Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter and TikTok are in no way associated with this giveaway. Administrators and sponsors reserve the right to publish the first name, last name, Instagram handle, and nomination from any contest entrant as entered on the contest form.

Quebec: Any litigation respecting the conduct or organization of a publicity contest may be submitted to the Régie des alcools, des courses et des jeux for a ruling. Any litigation respecting the awarding of a prize may be submitted to the board only for the purpose of helping the parties reach a settlement.

Prize parameters: once the prize has been distributed, it cannot be refunded or sold; products are subject to availability and joni reserves the right to substitute items of the same value. 

Prize items will be sent to the Winner directly by joni.

By entering the Prize nomination, each entrant acknowledges that joni will not be liable for any loss or injury of any kind incurred as a result of acceptance, possession and use or misuse of any of the awarded Prizes and each entrant hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless joni and their respective successors, assigns, agents, employees, representatives, officers, directors and shareholders (Released Parties) from and against any and all such claims and agrees that the entrant shall have no claim against the Released Parties or any other entity that may seek compensation or indemnification from joni as a result of his/her participation in the Prize nomination, and in the event that he/she is declared a winner of the Prize, for his/her acceptance, possession and use or misuse of any of the Prizes.
